Warranty duration

The warranty for the electric scooter, as well as all its parts and components, is 3 years from the date of delivery, provided that during this time the defect that arises is not due to normal wear and tear, as is the case with some parts of the product (chain, brakes, wiring, and tires). However, after 6 months from the date of delivery, the consumer must prove that the faults correspond to a manufacturing defect.

In the case of the electric batteries and control unit, the warranty is 6 months, and the loss of autonomy due to its aging, or incorrect charging, does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

Warranty exclusions

EcoXtrem will not be held liable, and the product warranty will be voided, in the event of:

Normal use and wear of the product and its components.

Damage caused by improper use or handling of the product. 

Improper assembly. - Inadequate follow-up maintenance.

Installation of components, parts or accessories that were not designed for or compatible with the scooter as sold.

Damage or failure due to accidents, misuse, abuse, or negligence.

Labor charges for parts replacement or conversion.

Use of components from other manufacturers.

Repair at an unofficial service center.

Failure to present a purchase invoice.

Warranty expiration.

EcoXtrem offers a comprehensive 3-year warranty, except for electronic components such as batteries and control units, which are covered by a 6-month warranty. Remember that all vehicles powered by a gasoline or electric motor require regular maintenance to help prevent major damage. Failure to perform these maintenance checks will void the warranty.
